Passports: Passport valid for at least four months after date of return from Cambodia is required of all nationals.
Visas: Required for all nationals except those from the Philippines and Malaysia who do not need a tourist visa and who may stay in Cambodia for 21 and 30 days respectively.
Please note: Visitors arriving by air can obtain a visa for stays of up to 30 days on arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, Phnom Penh or Siem Reap International Airport, Angkor. Visas are also available from Immigration at the Cambodia-Vietnam border post of Bavet International Check Point (Svay Rieng Province), Kha Orm Sam Nor International Check Point (Kandal Province) and Koh Rohka International Check Point (Prey Veng Province). At the Cambodia-Thailand border post of Poi Pet International Check Point (Banteay Meanchey Province), Cham Yeam International Check Point (Koh Kong Province) and Osmach International Check Point (Odor Meanchey Province). Visitors are advised to check current situation before traveling. E-Visas available at www.mfaic.gov.kh are only valid for entry via Phnom Penh International Airport, Phnom Penh or Siem Reap International Airport, Angkor.
Validity: All visas are valid for a one month period and visas issued by the embassy must be used within three months of date of issue. Extensions of up to one extra month for tourist visas or six or 12 months for business visas (which can be multiple) may be granted by the Ministry of the Interior at the Immigration Office in Phnom Penh.
Types of Visa and Cost: A passport and visa are required. Tourists and business travelers may purchase a Cambodian visa valid for one month at the airports in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Both require a passport-sized photograph.
Working Days Required: If you apply before departure it takes five days from the day of receipt of your application form to issue the visa. Express visas are issued within 24 hours. E-Visas are issued within three working days; the visa is delivered electronically to the applicant's mailbox.
The following goods may be imported into Cambodia without incurring customs duty: 200 cigarettes or equivalent in tobacco, reasonable amount of perfume for personal use.
Please note: Currency must be declared.
The international airport departure tax at Phnom Penh is US$20 and at Siem Reap is US$20. For domestic flights, there is a departure tax of US$5 at both airports
